Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician shall be under the direct supervision of the Park Manager. The Maintenance Technician is to complete daily maintenance of a 174-full hook-up RV space park location along the Colorado River. They must represent the enterprise in a respectful, polite and professional manner at all times.
Duties & Functions:
- Open and close park gate and facilities
- Answer phones after office hours and on call maintenance as scheduled Required to live on premises in personally owned RV Monitor and report non-compliance by tenants to Park rules General Park maintenance:
- Maintain and clean lawns, beach, weeds, trees (other than palm trees) in park common areas Trash collection
- Minor repairs docks, plumbing, electrical, buildings and road patch Irrigation of park common areas and maintenance of irrigation system Minor vehicle and golf cart repair and maintenance. Light fabrication Maintain and clean pool & spa Monitor and add chemicals Maintain daily logs Minor Repairs Maintain potable water delivery system Monitor and add chemicals Maintain daily logs Minor repairs
- Maintain sewer ponds and system - make minor repairs Perform other duties as may be required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of common tools and equipment used in park maintenance.
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written directions.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Must possess a current valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
Physical Requirement:
- Be able to stand at least eight (8) hours.
- Must successfully complete a drug/alcohol screening test prior to appointment.
- Physically able to perform duties assigned.
- Must be able to work in an open environment.
- Must be able to work in adverse weather.
- Occasionally work extended shifts as assigned, some weekends and holiday.

The Colorado River Indian Tribes has implemented a Tribal / CRIT Preference in Employment Policy. Pursuant to this Policy, applicants who possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities required by this position, and who are enrolled members of the Colorado River Indian Tribes will be given primary preference in hiring and employment for this position.
