JOB SUMMARY
The Lease Specialist is responsible for all leases and permits issued within the Bluewater Lagoon, an enterprise of the Colorado River Indian Tribes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Prepare and maintain lease and permit records
- Prepare negotiation and litigation files
- Participate in litigation, including providing testimony
- Maintain lease payment records
- Enter and retrieve lease data into the applicable Management system
- Demonstrated computer literacy including use and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to ensure more effective monitoring of leases
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Significant knowledge, skill and ability to effectively manage residential property with a substantial number of leases
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality at all times
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Arizona or California driver's license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant coursework of real estate, sales, and/or business
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience working in real estate
- Tribal real estate experience preferred
