Job Summary:

Maintenance Technician shall be under the direct supervision of the Blue Water RV Park Manager. The maintenance technician is to complete daily maintenance of a 194 full hook-up RV space park location along the Colorado River. They must represent the enterprise in a professional manner at all times.

Duties & Functions:

• Assist the property manager/maintenance staff as needed, follow through and complete all other duties and or projects assigned.
• Maintain and keep park clean at all times.
• Keep outside grounds, desert wash, and/or drains clear of debris.
• Open clubhouse and clean thoroughly on a weekly basis.
• Clean patio area, restrooms and laundry facilities daily.
• Clean and empty trash cans.
• Mow and edge all lawns.
• Rake all park area as needed.
• Trim and prune all trees and shrubs within the park grounds including individual space sites.
• Use leaf blower to clean walkways, parking lots, entrances and roads.
• Keep sprinkler and water systems in working order.
• Clean and/or repair individual space sites as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Blue Water RV Park Manager or designee to fulfill the Department's needs, objectives and/or goals.
• Follow established Tribal policies and those outlined in the Colorado River Indian Tribes Employee Handbook.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Must practice safety precautions and be safety conscious at all times.
• Have general knowledge of electrical, carpentry and plumbing skills.
• Operate light equipment.
• Understand and follow oral/written directions.
• Some knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment and methods commonly employed in the care and cleaning of buildings, facilities and equipment.
• General knowledge of building trades.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring moderately/heavy manual work.
• Ability to establish and effective relationship with clients and co-workers.
• Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license throughout employment.

Physical Requirement:

• Be able to stand at least eight (8) hours.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening test prior to appointment.
• Physically able to perform duties assigned.
• Must be able to work in adverse outdoor climates and environments.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull a minimum of twenty-five (25) pounds.
