Colorado Storm (Formerly Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer) is seeking a Tournament Operations Intern to join our team for a hands-on, fast-paced internship experience. This is a paid, part-time role focused on sports operations, customer service, and event execution — ideal for someone passionate about soccer, youth development, and building a career in sports.
About the Internship
This internship offers a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to run top-tier youth soccer tournaments. You'll gain experience across event management, logistics, communication, and administration — while contributing to the culture and quality of our club.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with tournament planning, registration, scheduling, and team communication
- Support on-site operations during events: setup, signage, check-in, and real-time logistics
- Help manage tournament emails and respond to team inquiries professionally and promptly
- Track registrations, payments, and documentation accurately
- Coordinate with referees, vendors, and staff for smooth execution
- Represent Storm values in every interaction — on and off the field
Who We Are Looking For
- Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
- A strong communicator — both written and verbal
- Comfortable with customer-facing interactions and multitasking
- Tech-savvy and able to learn scheduling and registration platforms
- Passionate about sports, soccer, or youth development
Timeframe & Details
- Term: Mid July – End of December (Ideal Start Date: Between July 20th-24th)
- Schedule: Part-time with flexible weekday hours; full availability required on tournament weekends
- Pay: $16.00/hour overtime for 40 hours/week
- School credit: Available upon request
