Pay Range: $52.88-$65.00/hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Superintendent to oversee the day-to-day operations of a federal construction project involving the abatement and demolition of small MEP buildings, the removal of fuel tanks, electrical system upgrades, and the replacement of two large generators onsite. The Superintendent will play a key role in the effective and efficient management of teams, subcontractors, and resources to meet project deadlines, quality expectations, and safety standards. We are looking to bring this individual on board as soon as possible to participate in Pre-Construction meetings and gain familiarity with the scope, site conditions, and subcontractors before work begins onsite. Previous experience with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is highly desired. This role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of accountability.
Essential Functions:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Supervise, guide, and manage on-site staff, including foremen, workers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Foster a positive and productive work environment. Ensure that all operations comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure proper training for staff. Maintain high standards of quality control and inspect work regularly to ensure that it meets required specifications and safety protocols. Manage and schedule resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure their availability and efficient utilization. Address any issues or delays that may arise on-site and develop and implement effective solutions. Serve as the main point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and upper management, providing regular updates and reports. Monitor and manage the project budget, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and that the project remains within its financial constraints.Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and any issues or changes in the project scope. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
