Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented OD (Outside Diameter), Surface, and Tool Grinder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precision grinding of various tools and components to meet strict quality standards. Your expertise in grinding techniques, machine operation, and technical measurements will ensure the production of high-quality tooling. Responsibilities
- Operate and set up surface grinders, OD grinders, CNC grinding machines, and tool grinders to produce precise tooling components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate machining.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Follow safety protocols diligently.
Requirements
- Proven experience in precision grinding.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of machining processes.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately.
- Proficiency in using hand tools like calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes.
- Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and process adjustments.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to factory operations including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). and ready to contribute your expertise to a thriving manufacturing facility committed to quality excellence!
Pay: $17.50 - $35.00 per hour
