General Remodeling Lead & Installer

Job Summary

Colorado Home Remodeling has an immediate need for a General Remodeling Lead and Installer. We have a sizable team/network covering many trades and need to add a remodeler to our team.

This is a part-time, W9 contract position, and as such the selected applicant will need to invoice the GC for work performed.

In good years hours will range from 700 - 1200, possibly more, depending on the year. This position will traverse the trades of moderate carpentry, basic concrete, experience with demolition of residential bathrooms, very basic plumbing and electrical knowledge, ability to stay organized and coordinate with others on the crew, and the ability to be tactful and communicate effectively with homeowners. This position will interface with all the other key trades on our comprehensive remodels.

For those qualified for the job, the requirement list is obvious, but it needs to be said.

Requirements are:

• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Live within 45 minutes of any project in Northern Colorado.
• Your own vehicle.
• Proficiency with most carpentry hand and power tools.
• Your own hand tools, some but not all power tools (although we are happy to share some of our equipment for the right person, if you don't have the full outfit of what you would need).

A high proportion of our work is predictable. Basement finishes, complete interior remodels, bathrooms, kitchens, decks, and all the associated carpentry skills that come with that such as: rough frame, support beams, trim, doors, windows, cabinets, and general remodeling management experience, and more.

We offer flexibility, a supportive culture and good camaraderie, with more than a few laughs along the way required for this position.

We are very flexible on days off and appointments needed after someone has proven themselves to be dependable in the first 100 hours.
