Role Description The Occupational Therapist is a part-time, remote role based in Littleton, CO. This role is responsible for evaluating patients’ functional abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering occupational therapy interventions to support independence in daily activities. Day-to-day tasks include performing assessments, documenting progress, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and educating patients and families on home programs and adaptive strategies. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services across varied age groups, with opportunities to work in pediatric and adult care settings. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, participating in care team meetings, and supporting quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to design and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
- Foundational knowledge of Medicine and related healthcare practices to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong Communication skills for clear documentation, patient and family education, and professional collaboration.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including the ability to tailor interventions to children’s developmental needs.
- Active state license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Colorado.
