Colorado Golf Club is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. Following traditional and your own modern recipes
- Create new and exciting desserts to enhance our menus and engage the interests of our membership.
- Decorate cakes and pastries using different techniques, icings, toppings.
- Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar and dairy items - make appropriate orders within budget.
- Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
- Guide and motivate Chef De Parties and assistants to work more efficiently and assist in the creation of final plating for desserts.
- Maintain par levels, an orderly cooking station, and adhere to health and safety standards.
Requirements and skills
- Must have Fine Dining, Golf Club or Country Club Experience.
- Proven experience as Pastry Chef, Sous Chef, Assistant Pastry Chef, Head Baker.
- Great attention to detail and creativity
- Organizing and leadership skills
- Willingness to replenish professional knowledge.
- In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
- Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
- Preferred Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or relevant field
