What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Associate position at Colorado Discount Nutrition?
Overview:
The manager role is one of the most important in the store. He or she is responsible for delivering great customer service, and driving sales by having superb product knowledge on the sales floor. They are responsible to assist the GM in all management functions for the store, and be able to correctly run the store in the absence of the GM. This position handles more operational aspects of how the store runs, including inventory, shipments, ordering supplies and assigning tasks for associates.
Duties:
- Enforce all policies and procedures with all members of the staff
- Efficiently run the store efficiently without GM on premises
- Correctly operate and oversee all cash registers transactions and balance till at the end of shift
- Drive sales by connecting with out of store vendors in the community
- Assist the GM in coaching opportunities and internal growth
- Assist the GM in finding talent for any open position (verifying applications, phone interviews)
- Creating weekly schedules for staff
- Conducting interviews for new candidates
- Maintain loss prevention standards to prevent theft (internal and external)
- Be able to deliver verbal warnings and written corrective actions
- Be able to delegate and oversee store cleanliness and appearance
- Be able to receive shipment in the store and keep an organized sales floor while processing the order in a timely manner
- Assist the GM in achieving all sales goals (WTD, MTD, YTD), by staying up to date with store performance daily.
- Assist the GM with scheduling and current employee availability
- Keep the store up to date with all planograms and merchandising standards
- Engage with all customers by providing exceptional customer service in finding the products for their health and wellness goals

- Ability to manage inventory processes, including shipment receiving, zero‑on‑hand scans, and maintaining an organized sales floor
- Experience with planograms, merchandising standards, and maintaining store appearance
- Strong organizational skills to complete weekly task calendars, supply orders, and scheduling support
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
