What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Intervention Service Coordinator position at Colorado Bluesky Enterprises Inc.?
Early Intervention builds upon and provides support and resources to assist family members and caregivers to enhance children’s learning and development through everyday learning opportunities. A service coordinator works with the families throughout the child’s involvement with the EI Colorado program, assists families in accessing services and informs families of their legal rights. A service coordinator is the families main point of contact and is an important part of the EI process. The Service Coordinator helps families with children 0-3 in need of developmental services and assistance obtain these services and resources in an efficient, timely, effective, and compassionate manner. The Service Coordinator facilitates, coordinates, and collaborates with resources, families, providers, and other community agencies to make sure that children in need get Early Intervention services incorporating all best practices and in cooperation with State and CBE policies, laws, and guidelines.
