Master Hairstylist — Color Me Nash
Location: Wedgewood-Houston, Nashville, TN
Job type: Full-time or part-time
Compensation: 50% service commission and 15% retail product commission
Color Me Nash is seeking a Master Hairstylist with advanced skills, an established clientele, and a passion for creating an exceptional guest experience. This role is for an experienced stylist who can confidently handle complex services and help newer team members grow.
What you’ll do
- Bring and continue serving your existing clientele while welcoming new guests.
- Perform advanced cutting, color, blonding, corrective color, extensions, or other services within your specialties.
- Lead detailed consultations and develop realistic plans for complex appointments.
- Build guest loyalty through rebooking and personalized home care recommendations.
- Mentor developing stylists and share your expertise with the team.
- Maintain service notes, sanitation standards, and an organized station.
- Create at least one individual Instagram Reel each week featuring your work, following salon guidelines.
- Arrive prepared at least 15 minutes before your first appointment.
What we’re looking for
- An active Tennessee cosmetology license.
- An established clientele that you plan to bring with you.
- Extensive experience behind the chair and a strong portfolio.
- Advanced skills in at least one specialty area.
- Excellent consultation, problem-solving, and guest service skills.
- A professional, team-minded approach to mentoring others.
