What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Printer and CNC Cutter Operators - 2nd and 3rd Shifts position at Color Direct?
Color Direct, Inc. is a printer and manufacturer in Milwaukee. We are growing and hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift production printing and finishing positions.
Qualified candidates have experience operating wide-format digital presses or CNC equipment. Cutting positions involve setting up and running CNC programs on various printed materials, while press operation involves maintaining and operating wide-format digital presses on a variety of substrates. Every position at Color Direct also performs other duties as required. Both roles involve configuring and running machines using specialized computer software, so proficiency with a PC is essential.
Candidates should be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined problem solvers who are able to work on their feet for eight hours and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Punctuality and consistent attendance are paramount. Well-suited candidates have an excellent attendance track record, welcome constructive feedback, show initiative, and maintain a positive attitude.
