Printing Press Assistant Job Description:

Printing Press Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

- Identify raw materials required for the job from the job ticket and stage according to procedures

- Monitor infeed, ink levels and coating levels during machine operation

- Monitor registration and color

- Setting up the feeder

- Assist with the set up and clean up of the job to be run as well as changeovers

- Routine machine maintenance

- Complete production orders at or below expected scrap rates

- Monitor production schedule

- Comply with all AIB regulations

- Cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

- Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures

- Complete all documentation accurately as required

- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

We currently have an opening on 3rd shift (10 pm - 6 am), Monday night - Friday night.

Printing Press Assistant Qualifications:

• Good Attitude
• Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Previous manufacturing experience in a converting or printing environment would be helpful
• Previous machine operation is required
