Colony Brands is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Merchandising Associate to join our Linens team. This role is instrumental in developing seasonally relevant product assortments that align with the strategic and financial objectives of our non-food brands. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in merchandising or buying, a keen eye for product trends, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
What You’ll Do:
As a Merchandising Associate, you’ll support merchandising for specific product categories assigned by the Senior Manager, Merchandising. You’ll ensure that your merchandise is not only visually appealing but also strategically priced to drive sales and maximize profitability. You’ll also be responsible for:
• Collaborating with our merchandising and sourcing teams to curate seasonal linens and textile collections that resonate with our target audience. You'll use your design savvy to select trending patterns, must-have textures, and complementary pieces that tell a cohesive home or lifestyle story.
• Analyzing sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to uncover insights that inform merchandising strategies. You'll use data-driven decision-making to optimize product assortments and pricing strategies.
• Partnering with our creative team to produce engaging content that showcases our linens and textiles in the best possible light. Whether it's eye-catching product photography or compelling product descriptions, you'll help bring our products to life across catalog and e-commerce platforms.
Qualifications
We need someone with a creative mindset and a keen eye for detail. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional teams. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Consumer Science, Merchandising, or a related field and 2 years of experience in merchandising or buying, with a proven track record of success in product development and merchandising data management. In addition, we are looking for:
