Duties
- Engage with prospective tenants via phone, email, and in person to promote available properties and answer inquiries promptly.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate lease agreements, contracts, and related legal documents in accordance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations.
- Maintain accurate data entry of applicant information using property management software, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address property upkeep issues and ensure units are ready for new tenants.
- Manage the application process, ensuring eligibility criteria are met and documentation is complete.
- Foster strong customer relationships through excellent phone etiquette, conflict management skills, upselling opportunities, and personalized service to maximize occupancy rates.
Skills
- Proven experience in property leasing required.
- Knowledge of, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law.
- Proficiency with RentManager, or similar property management software.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with the ability to handle contracts confidently while maintaining compliance standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor; adept at conflict resolution and managing diverse client needs.
- Office experience including data entry, filing, legal administrative tasks, and general facilities management.
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining high accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
