Full Job Description
HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR/FOREMAN
Ability to Safely Operate the following Equipment:
- Excavators
- Backhoes
- Loader
- Bobcat Skid Steers
- Mini Rubber Tracked Excavators
- Vibratory Rollers
Qualified Candidates should have the Experience in:
- Ability to read construction plans and set elevations
- Storm Drainage Installation; Sewer and Water Mains
- Roadway & Sidewalk Excavation/Grading
- Asphalt and concrete work
- Site Work (Select Demo, Earth Excavation, Grading)
- Trenching & Backfilling of conduit, setting of lighting foundations
- Retaining Wall Construction
MUST BE WILLING TO HELP LABOR WHEN ON JOB SITE
- Ensure work site is maintained and that equipment is running properly.
- Safely operate equipment, perform and general labor and mechanical duties
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage small crew, maintain good housekeeping around the work site.
- Ability to work overtime as needed and Monday through Friday, some Saturdays as the workload requires.
- Maintain equipment in proper working order.
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, inspectors, and, and customers.
- Use safe practices in all activities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $66.55 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
