A day in the life:
- Learn how to assemble, repair, and install: PVC, Cast Iron, Copper, Black Iron Screw Pipe, and Weld Pipe
- Assist lay out, fabrication, assembly, installation and welding of piping systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Work on various project types which include: renovations, change-outs, retrofits, installation of commercial plumbing and hydronic systems
You should have:
- Ability to get to work each day on time and focus on the job at hand
- 1 year of construction and/or pipefitting/welding experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including unscheduled overtime (nights and weekends)
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations (is a plus, but not required)
- Understanding of basic construction/shop math
- Ability to work easily and skillfully with hands
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
- Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment
