Fleet Manager

ColonialWebb is seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the strategic and day‑to‑day operations of our 500 vehicle fleet. This role ensures our technicians have safe, reliable, and cost‑efficient vehicles to serve our customers.

What you will do:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of 500 company vehicles, ensuring safety, maintenance, compliance, and cost control.
• Lead the replacement and rollout of our telematics/dashcam solution, including deployment, training, and adoption.
• Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage vehicle acquisition, replacement planning, upfitting, branding, and end‑of‑life disposition.
• Partner with third‑party fleet vendors to evaluate and approve repairs; coordinate with internal and external service providers.
• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and support timely completion.
• Manage incident response, temporary vehicle assignments, and minor third‑party incident handling.
  

You should have:

• 3 years of fleet management experience (200 vehicles preferred)
• Proven success implementing telematics or GPS/dashcam systems.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operations, budgeting, compliance, and vendor management.
• Experience with enterprise fleet management software.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project‑management skills.
• Customer‑service mindset with the urgency to support field technicians.
• Familiarity with construction, mechanical, or field‑service industries is a plus.
