What you will do:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of 500 company vehicles, ensuring safety, maintenance, compliance, and cost control.
- Lead the replacement and rollout of our telematics/dashcam solution, including deployment, training, and adoption.
- Develop and enforce fleet policies and procedures to reduce risk and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage vehicle acquisition, replacement planning, upfitting, branding, and end‑of‑life disposition.
- Partner with third‑party fleet vendors to evaluate and approve repairs; coordinate with internal and external service providers.
- Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and support timely completion.
- Manage incident response, temporary vehicle assignments, and minor third‑party incident handling.
You should have:
- 3 years of fleet management experience (200 vehicles preferred)
- Proven success implementing telematics or GPS/dashcam systems.
- Strong knowledge of fleet operations, budgeting, compliance, and vendor management.
- Experience with enterprise fleet management software.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project‑management skills.
- Customer‑service mindset with the urgency to support field technicians.
- Familiarity with construction, mechanical, or field‑service industries is a plus.
