A day in the life:

• Maintain strict adherence to all company safety rules, regulations, procedures and practices
• Share the “Courage to Care” message with teammates and serve as a positive example of safety
• Communicate with clients and customers to request and arrange payments
• Record and track payments in databases
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
• Provide guidance to customers to enable simple resolution of outstanding payment issues
• Resolve all inquiries requested by customers after proper investigation
• Communicate with customers and maintain positive customer relationships
• Support other team members as required

You should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in accounts receivable
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Ability to handle day-to-day administrative tasks relating to work assignments
• Ability to deal diplomatically and communicate effectively with internal and external customers  
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to coordinate and perform multiple activities in a timely manner
• Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and remain calm when handling emergencies
• Ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with internal and external customers
