PM Warehouse Supervisor

Job purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor is in charge of leading and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse. Ensures that the department’s functions are carried out in an efficient and timely manner. He/she is also in charge of implementing programs that will ensure the smooth workings of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees nightly order selection, staging and loading activity.
• Conducts employee production and safety meetings.
• Ensures employee compliance of company policies and procedures.
• Ensures shift meets company KPI’s for production, accuracy, and hours worked.
• Ability to research and resolve problems.
• Oversees documentation and loading for product transfer to other locations.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
• Fosters a positive and motivational work environment.
• Ability to connect, encourage, and engage with employees to increase employee retention.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, discipline, and termination processes.
• Ability to provide concise professional verbal and electronic communication to management.

• 2-5 years’ experience supervising night selection in warehouse distribution preferred. 
• Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
• Forklift/Electric Pallet Jack Certification.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
• Customer service skills
• Microsoft Excel and data entry experience required.
• Technical knowledge of distribution, operations systems including WMS & RF Scanning is required.
• Demonstrated successes in staff development and leadership skills.

Job frequently requires standing, handling objects with hands, standing, walking, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting over 50 lbs. Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.  Perform in Warehouse environments.
