Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct and indirect resident care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The CNA supports residents in maintaining comfort, dignity, and quality of life while adhering to facility policies and state regulations.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS: 1400-2200 Monday-Friday, 0600-2200 Saturday & Sunday-WEEKEND DOUBLES-EVERY WEEKEND.
RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION IS A MUST!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure)
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical, emotional, and mental conditions to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
- Support infection control practices and follow safety protocols
- Assist with meal service and ensure proper nutrition and hydration
- Provide compassionate emotional support to residents and their families
Experience
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred, but not required

- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents (may require lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Work Environment
- Skilled nursing and long-term care facility
- May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Exposure to infectious diseases and bodily fluids
Licensure & Requirements (Oklahoma-Specific)
- Active CNA certification listed in the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry
- Must pass a background check and drug screening per state regulations
- Compliance with all Oklahoma State Department of Health guidelines
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Oklahoma
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Basic computer skills for documentation
