Production Reliability Engineer - Lake Charles, LA (Onsite)

A well-established chemical manufacturer is adding a Production Reliability Engineer to support plant reliability, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a highly visible role for an engineer who enjoys solving equipment reliability challenges while working closely with operations and maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Improve reliability and performance of rotating and process equipment
- Lead small to mid-sized capital projects from concept through startup
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions
- Support predictive maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives
- Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve safety, quality, and production efficiency
What We're Looking For
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- 5-7 years of experience in a chemical or process manufacturing environment
- Experience with mechanical equipment reliability, troubleshooting, and process improvements
- Capital project experience is strongly preferred
