HR Analyst – People Analytics and Reporting
Onsite near Cedar Park, TX
Salary: $90,000–$110,000, bonus potential
In partnership with our client in the Aerospace, Defense, and Advanced Technology space, we seek an HR Analyst specializing in People Analytics and Reporting to join a growing HR Operations team within the aerospace and defense industry. This position will transform workforce data into actionable insights that support business and workforce decisions across HR, Finance, and executive leadership.
The HR Analyst will be responsible for developing reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics primarily within Workday. This individual will also help establish key HR metrics, reporting standards, and scalable analytics processes as the organization continues to develop its people analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain HR reports and dashboards within Workday
- Develop and track workforce metrics including headcount, turnover, retention, time-to-fill, internal mobility, and compensation trends
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Create executive-ready dashboards, visualizations, and recurring reporting packages
- Support monthly, quarterly, and executive-level business reviews
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across HR reporting and workforce data
- Partner with HR, Finance, and business leadership to define metrics aligned with organizational objectives
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR data structures and reporting within Workday
- Partner with HRIS and IT teams to improve reporting capabilities and data architecture
- Support HR data governance, SOX controls, and audit readiness
- Utilize Workday, Excel, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5 years of experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS/ERP platform
- Hands-on experience developing HR reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful trends
- Experience developing and tracking HR and workforce metrics
- Strong Excel skills; Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization experience is a plus
- Ability to translate data into clear, concise insights for HR and business leadership
- Strong attention to data accuracy, integrity, and governance
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, Finance, HRIS, IT, and business stakeholders
Compensation and Benefits:
- $90,000–$110,000 base salary
