Colonial South Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Counter person!
We are currently taking applications for a full-time, motivated, Parts Counter Person to enhance our team! We are looking for a team player that is positive, upbeat and a quick learner.
Parts Counter person Responsibilities:
- Meet and assist the customer in a courteous and professional manner providing them with the information they need.
- Answer telephone calls promptly and provide professional service ensuring the customer’s needs are met.
- Deliver or pick up parts as needed
- Ensure that incoming inventory is stocked in the correct location.
- Maintain the parts department in a clean and organized manner.
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date.
- Informing customers of any current specials.
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors.
Parts Counter person Qualifications:
- 1 years of related experience in an automotive parts department required
- Experience with Chevrolet/ GM a plus
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license and a good driving record.
