LPN/RN: PRN

Job Summary

Are you an LPN who knows the magic mix of compassion, skill, and humor it takes to brighten a resident’s day? We’re looking for a Nurse to join our amazing team at Colonial Manor—a place where quality care, teamwork, and laughter go hand-in-hand.

You’ll work closely with RNs, physicians, and a group of teammates who truly care about one another (and who might just save you the last donut or share snacks at the nurses station). If you’ve got experience with PCC or other EMRs, you’re already ahead of the game.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on nursing care with heart—administer medications and treatments accurately and kindly.
• Keep careful track of vitals, documentation, and care notes (because good charting saves lives and your sanity and because if it’s not charted… we all know the rest).
• Partner with the care team to develop and carry out personalized care plans that help our residents thrive.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, residents, and families—because we’re all in this together.
• Offer emotional support to residents and families (a good listener and a kind word go a long way).
• Keep the environment clean, safe, and comfortable—because home should feel like home, and we all know infection control is everyone’s best friend.
• Participate in trainings and continuing education—we love nurses who keep growing.
• Stay compliant with all nursing regulations and standards—your professionalism keeps our care excellent.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in good standing (we like our nurses licensed and awesome).
• Experience in long-term care preferred—if you know your way around a med cart, and you know how to handle a busy floor with grace and grit you will fit right in.
• Familiarity with PCC or other EMR systems (charting made easier = happier nurses).
• Strong documentation skills—you’re the kind of nurse who dots your i’s, crosses your t’s, and still remembers who likes extra sugar in their coffee.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while keeping your cool.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills—we believe the best care happens when everyone works together.
• Above all, a compassionate heart and dedication to treating every resident like family.
