What You’ll Do:
- Setup & Operation: Independently set up and run vertical mills/lathes for high-precision/job shop. Specializing in Nuclear and Aerospace
- Blueprints & GD&T: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering sketches.
- Quality Control: Use micrometers, calipers, and height gages to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.
- Troubleshoot: Address tool wear, material inconsistencies, and unexpected machine behavior on the fly.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Experienced in CNC machining (Setup/Operator).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with G-code/Mastercam and specific controls like Fanuc.
- Material Knowledge: Experience machining Steel, Aluminum, Stainless, or Exotics.
- Mindset: Extreme attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
