Food Transporter/Steam Table Attendant

Overview
Colonial Heights Senior Living is seeking a competent, reliable and caring individual for this very important position. A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to serve senior adults, in a compassionate manner, is an absolute must.

This position will be responsible for providing a quality dining experience by transporting food over to our Assisted Living building and serving the residents their meals with the assistance of caretaker staff.

In addition, the qualities stated below are desired:

• Current driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to load, transport, serve food and wash dishes.
• Able to keep serving area and kitchen clean and up to health code.
• Excellent communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must pass all hiring requirements including TB test, drug screening and background checks.

Skill

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Speak, read and understand the English language.
• Read and follow instructions, recipe books, menus and food labels correctly.
• Demonstrate willingness to help other staff when needed.

Sunday - Thursday 7:00am - 3:00pm
