Colonial Heights Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Director of Admissions to join our team!
The Director of Admissions supports the Admissions team in all the responsibilities of the Admissions Department. Responds to inquiry calls from hospital discharge planners, families, and other referral sources. Manages the admission process by always maintaining updated bed availability and facility services information. Manages the inquiry process professionally, timely and with appropriate follow-up. Effectively manages occupancy levels and census/premium mix enhancement.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Experience in health care setting preferred
• College degree preferred
• Business or sales background is preferred
• Ability to project a professional, caring attitude
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Flexible with scheduling work assignments to include emergency admissions
• Possess desire and ability to be a team player in solving problems
• Ability to attend to detail • Possess computer skills
