What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Colonial Health & Rehab Center of Plainfield LLC?
Colonial invites you to our Dietary Department. We are looking for a candidate that can complete tasks listed below. Interviews for candidates that do not have all experience listed below may be asked to perform small tasks as part of the interview process.
OPEN POSITIONS
- 6AM-2PM 24 HOURS TEMPORARY
- 330P-07:15PM 11.25-15 HOURS
Job Duties
- Assist with meal preparation and food production in the dietary department
- Serve meals to residents and ensure they receive the correct dietary options
- Clean and sanitize dining areas, kitchen equipment, and utensils
- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
- Restock items in designated areas.
- Work well with others.
-Wash dishes using dish machine and put away clean dishes.
-Prepare drinks at required consistencies, label and date
-Complete cleaning tasks, washing shelves, scrubbing floors, sweep and mopping.
- Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure smooth operations
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in food service or the dietary department is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety guidelines
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals are served on time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with residents
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
