We are seeking a knowledgeable and reliable Maintenance Director/Supervisor to join our leadership team.Position Summary:The Maintenance Director oversees the overall maintenance and safety of the facility, ensuring compliance with Title 22, OSHPD, Life Safety Code, and all applicable state and federal regulations. This individual will lead all maintenance, repair, and preventative upkeep efforts for the building, grounds, and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and building systems.Ensure compliance with Title 22, California Building Codes, Fire Marshal, OSHA, and Department of Public Health standards.Maintain accurate documentation and logs for inspections, safety checks, and regulatory requirements.Coordinate vendor services, including elevator maintenance, fire safety systems, and emergency equipment testing.Conduct routine facility inspections and address safety hazards promptly.Participate in disaster preparedness and safety committee meetings.Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate with all departments to ensure timely completion of work orders.Assist with budget preparation, inventory control, and cost management for maintenance operations.Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Director or Supervisor in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or healthcare environment.Strong knowledge of Title 22 and all California state and federal regulations pertaining to skilled nursing facilities.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and life safety systems.Must be dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.Must successfully pass background check and physical exam per facility policy.Preferred:Prior experience with OSHPD compliance and CDPH survey preparation.Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.Benefits:Competitive pay Health, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid Time Off and Holidays401(k) Retirement PlanSupportive management and positive team culture
