The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests while assisting with daily golf operations. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth transitions for players, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the golf facilities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assist with loading/unloading golf bags and properly staging carts.
- Maintain cleanliness, charging, and overall readiness of the golf cart fleet.
- Organize, set up, and break down driving range and practice areas (range balls, baskets, bag stands, etc.).
- Provide accurate information regarding tee times, course conditions, and club services.
- Ensure golf bags are properly stored, cleaned, and returned in an orderly manner.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of bag storage areas, cart barn, and surrounding facilities.
- Support pace-of-play initiatives by communicating with golf shop staff as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service by anticipating member/guest needs.
- Assist in tournament and outing operations when required.
- Adhere to all club policies, safety guidelines, and service standards.
Qualifications:
- Prior golf, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage positively with members and guests.
- A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on member satisfaction.
- Knowledge of golf-etiquette, rules, and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
Schedule: Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
