**35-40 Hours per week** 8/9am - 4/5pm, 5 days per week.
Cat-Shelter Technician duties include, but are not limited to:
- Clean Cat-shelter thoroughly and provide adequate food and water.
- Assist with organizing volunteer staffing for the week for cat-shelter and laundry.
- Provide Facility tours and be involved in community engagement.
- Monitor animals for health issues and provide friendly interaction/socialization.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with animals is recommended with potential for higher pay/responsibilities.
- Must be comfortable working with animals, volunteers, and members of the community.
- Able to lift 40 pounds (our litter and food bags can be heavy!).
- Able to move comfortably to clean inside low kennels and floor areas.
- Work without direct supervision and in a complimentary way with other technicians and volunteers.
- Use a detail-oriented approach to ensure all tasks are completed by the end of shift.
- Must be 18 years old or older.
