We are currently recruiting for a Direct Support Professional within our Residential program. This position works with individuals with Developmental Disabilities encouraging them to live independent and productive lives. Job Responsibilities
- Performs personal care tasks, including assistance with basic hygiene care to include grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other health care related tasks.
- Documents any services provided
- Plans meals, shopping for groceries, preparing and serving food/meals, and feeding.
- Assists with accompanies clients to scheduled appointments.
- Other duties as assigned.
We are currently recruiting for Full-Time (various hours) within our Residential program.
This position offers differentials for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
- Must have the ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to handle physical aspects of job, including bending, stooping, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and walking for periods of time.
- Work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
