VARSITY ASSISTANT BASEBALL COACH
Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a seasonal Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach at Coloma High School. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching baseball and a strong understanding of the game. This is a part-time position that requires availability in the afternoons and evenings during the baseball season.
Responsibilities:
- 2 years of coaching experience preferred
- Assist the head coach in planning and executing practices and games
- Provide individual and team instruction to players
- Help with player evaluations and selection for the team
- Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory
- Attend all games and practices as required
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all players
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and staff
Requirements:
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge of baseball rules and strategies
- Ability to work well with others as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Availability during afternoons and evenings for practices and games
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain required certifications as needed
