What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Forensic Data Technician position at Collisiondata?
Growing company looking to expand our South Florida team Typical scope of work includes travelling to the location of client vehicles and retrieving black box/Event Data Recorder (EDR) information from passenger and commercial vehicles (tractor trailers) involved in a collision. This position will be travelling across South Florida. This is an entry level position with training, equipment and vehicle provided.
Student or recent graduate of a 2 year tech oriented degree preferred, not required. This position will occasionally require lifting 75lbs or more, as well as crawling under vehicles to photograph data plates.
Must be comfortable with computers, basic hand tools, extended driving time and occasional overnight trips. Clean appearance, driving history and criminal record required.
Location of candidate is flexible around the general Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area.
