Duties
- Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement using advanced tools and techniques.
- Conduct auto painting and refinishing using airless paint spraying equipment to achieve flawless finishes.
- Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding methods to repair sheet metal and structural components.
- Fabricate custom parts and modify vehicle components through sheet metal work and mechanical fabrication skills.
- Install auto glass, trim, and other vehicle accessories with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work to ensure vehicles are road-ready.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair, vehicle maintenance, and auto painting techniques.
- Experience with auto estimating software and customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during repairs.
- Knowledge of auto glass installation, auto restoration processes, and airless paint spraying methods.
