Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to evaluate the extent of repairs needed.
- Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software and manual calculations
- Collaborate closely with technicians to understand repair procedures and timelines for services such as auto service management and automotive diagnostics
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair options, costs, and timelines while providing excellent customer service throughout the process
- Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate claim approvals and ensure smooth workflow
- Maintain organized records of all estimates, repair orders, and customer interactions to ensure transparency and accountability
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service management is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair procedures including mechanic experience and automotive diagnostics
- Familiarity with auto estimating software, service writing, and automotive service processes
- Customer service skills combined with sales experience to effectively upsell services and automobile sales when appropriate
- Mechanical knowledge that supports accurate damage assessment and repair planning
- Previous experience handling cash transactions or working in a fast-paced automotive environment is a plus
