2nd Shift Production Associate

Collis. LLC, in Clinton, Iowa, is a division of SSW Advanced Technologies, LLC, a global leader in design and production solutions for wire, steel and glass component needs.

Production Associates are assigned to an area or machine and may be assigned in other areas, as needed. They function as a member of the manufacturing team which is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. The Production Associate must have the skill set to train and/or perform the tasks of other associates in the area as needed.

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

Shifts Pay in Finishing, Fabrication and Nano – Advancement opportunities available.

• 2nd shift – 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm @15.47/hour

Pay increases after 90 days to $14.85 (1st shift), $15.60 (2nd shift) $15.85 (3rd shift) per hour PLUS a $.50 increase in October 2022!

In this manufacturing environment role, you will be required to:

• Work safely
• Pack parts
• Repair and/or sort parts as needed
• Load and unload material onto equipment for processing
• Start up and stop equipment
• Clean production work area
• Fill out daily production reports
• Fill out hourly quality reports
• Properly dispose of all scrap produced during shift
• Achieve production run rate specified by part number
• Read, reference, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform quality checks
• Monitor the line or machine for any issues
• Be able to perform basic math skills, including reading a tape measure
• Responsible to produce parts to quality and production standards
• Checks own work by observation or use of simple gauges and records checks in logbook
• Follow ISO requirements
• Safely and efficiently work in a fast-paced, industrial environment that is hot, cold, humid, and noisy and may include working around dust, oil, chemicals and other substances
• Perform tasks that entail frequent standing, walking and use of hands and fingers
• This position also requires occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling and crouching for at least 8 hours per day
• Position requires strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment (PPE), including but not limited to: safety glasses, leather shoes, long pants, gloves
• Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds
