Machine and Facility Maintenance Technician

· Collins Custom Manufacturing, is a AS9100/ISO9001 manufacturing facility in West Fort Worth. We specializes in aerospace manufacturing and have an immediate opening for a Facilities Coordinator.

Facilities Coordinator Responsibilities:

· Support machinist with finding material, material cutting, chip disposal, deburring, clean up and odd jobs.

· Schedules and delegates/performs preventative maintenance for all manufacturing equipment in a timely manner, to reduce downtime.

· Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.

· Completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance

· Performs minor and major repair of facility

· Purchases supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete task.

· Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.

· Works with outside vendors to accomplish preventative and repairs to equipment

· Operate equipment in a safe manner.

· Using your hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.

· Report areas of concern to Shop lead.

· Machine upkeep, coolant maintenance... etc.

· Assess, manage, and mitigate risks

· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

· Experience in the Aerospace Industry a plus

· Advanced computer skills

· Self-motivated, team player

· Strong organizational skills

· Solid judgment and decision-making skills

· Strong communication skills – able to communicate written and verbally with all levels of personnel.

· Ability to multitask and reprioritize responsibilities while working in a fast-paced environment.

· Variety of standing and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while regularly lifting .

· Ability to operate forklift.

· Pushing, pulling of up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting of 30 - 50 pounds.

· Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
