Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently.
• Complete vehicle alignments, wheel balancing, and steering system repairs to ensure optimal vehicle handling.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations clearly.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating procedures, and ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements

• Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and diesel engine repair.
• Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, and the use of schematics for troubleshooting.
• Mechanical aptitude complemented by familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance machinery safely.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
• Valid mechanic license or certification as required by local regulations; ASE certification is a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
