Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Elder Law and Estate Planning Attorney to join our legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal services to clients, focusing on elder law issues, estate planning strategies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on matters including asset protection planning, Medicaid crisis planning from start to finish, estate planning, guardianship, powers of attorney, and post-death administration/probate.
- Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
- Conduct presentations to educate the community on estate planning and elder law.
- Business development - identify and cultivate new business by developing referral sources and building relationships within the community.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and active license to practice law.
- Proven experience in estate planning and elder law is preferred.
- Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
