The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. What You Will Do:
- Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.
- Technical leadership for several proposal and business development efforts establishing technical, schedule, and cost baselines
- Help interface between development teams and site Subject Matter Experts to bring best products to bear
- Translate complex configuration details, schedules, trade studies, interfaces and requirement considerations to influence internal leadership, program teams, program managers, and customers
- Customer-facing role representing Collins as a technical subject matter expert to guide contract performance and shape future business
- Serve as the central hub connecting all stakeholders, facilitating communication between design teams, and customers to ensure alignment of project goals.
- Ensure team members tasks are aligned with individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient project completion.
- Responsible for managing the technical performance of a program team which may include multiple small programs (5-10) or a larger program (20-40).
- Oversee system deployment, validation, and verification against customer requirements
- Manage the project including tracking & reporting on budget and schedule performance through Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) techniques.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time depending on the program phase.
- Currently hold a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
- Experience with hardware & software design life cycle experience.
- Experience navigating competing priorities, delivering the highest level of engagement and delivering successful outcomes in critical situations.
- Strong Design Integration skills.
- Understanding of Aerospace engineering design and analysis review/release process.
- Identification of risks early on and ability to manage/mitigate by leveraging Sr. Leadership Support.
