The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

What You Will Do:
- The Product Manager is accountable for Commercial Avionics Data Link products and SW sustainment and roadmaps. Primary responsibilities for this position include strategic planning for assigned products, leading a product management team to maintain production flow, execution of obsolescence projects, and promoting cross-business product synergies to support business unit objectives.
- Qualified candidates should have a strong background in avionics products and project management. Candidates will also balance technical knowledge and business acumen to manage assigned product.
- This leadership position reports to the Director of the Communication Portfolio and is an active participant on the leadership team.
- Lead – embody the definition of leading a Program Management Team (PMT) demonstrated through collaboration, a positive attitude, and willingness to work together for the win
- Focus on the Goals – possess the attitude, drive, and desire to see projects through to completion
- Communicate – effectively communicate to forge strong working relationships with people across multiple organizations
- Analyze – demonstrate the ability to understand the current state and benchmark KPIs, provide a logical in-depth analysis or a problem or situation, then drive solutions

- Deepen and grow your leadership skillset as the pivotal leader of your IPT
- Increase your experience with complex aviation products
- Develop a deep appreciation for the full product lifecycle and get exposure to all the functional areas (R&D, design, manufacturing, quality, operations, field support)
- Increase exposure with senior leadership as the primary leader for your program
- Develop vast internal and external networks
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Aerospace industry experience
- Program management skills with a strong history building relationships in a matrix organization to lead cross functional teams
- Operations management experience, on-time-delivery, process control/improvement, manufacturing yield and throughput improvements
- Strengths around KPI benchmarking and leading teams to achieve desired results
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
