What You Will Do
- Construct and install electrical and network wiring assemblies, including custom cables and harnesses.
- Measure, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and cables to specification, and install components into chassis, panels, and equipment racks according to engineering drawings and schematics.
- Mount connectors, switches, circuit breakers, servers, PDUs, and related hardware, and routes power, network, and fiber cabling to ensure safety, accessibility, and proper airflow.
- Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
- Operate hand tools, electrical tools, molding, sanding/cutting of acrylic, measuring equipment and light equipment.
- Maintain inventory of product in workstations.
- Perform quality work checks, identify product defects and record identified defects.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
- Operate Fork Trucks and Overhead Cranes to load/unload material and finished product
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
- This is a first shift role.
- Hours are typically 6 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
