The Digital Technology Center in Puerto Rico is seeking motivated and curious Digital Technology Internship students to join our growing team. This role offers early-career professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple Digital Technology domains, supporting real-world initiatives that enable engineering, manufacturing, data, and enterprise solutions.
As an Intern, you will work alongside experienced DT professionals and contribute to projects that may include software development, data analytics, digital engineering tools, automation solutions, connected factory systems, cloud platforms, and process improvement initiatives.
This is an opportunity to learn how digital capabilities support business operations at scale while building foundational technical and professional skills.
This position is based at our Santa Isabel, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of employment. Relocation is not offered.

What You Will Do:
- Support development, testing, and maintenance of digital solutions across various DT domains
- Assist with software development, automation scripts, data analysis, dashboards, or system configurations depending on assignment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts
- Participate in team ceremonies and project reviews within an Agile or structured delivery framework
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and process standardization activities
- Learn and apply best practices in version control, cybersecurity awareness, data integrity, and system reliability
- Engage in professional development activities within the PR DTC community
- Real-world experience supporting aerospace and defense technical publications
- Exposure to professional documentation standards and regulated environments
- Mentorship from experienced Technical Writers and Engineers
- Development of technical communication, analytical, and collaboration skills
- A strong resume-building opportunity within a leading aerospace organization
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Knowledge with Agile methodologies or structured project environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), data tools, or engineering software systems
- Experience with Git or other version control tools
- Basic programming knowledge in at least one language (e.g., Python, C#, Java, JavaScript) or exposure to technical tools/platforms
- Foundational understanding of problem-solving and logical thinking
- Interest in digital technologies, data, automation, cloud platforms, or engineering systems
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
- Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
