Primary Location: 4800 Preston Park Boulevard, Plano, Texas, 75093 We are searching for candidates that meet the required qualifications and experience and are able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities. Job Summary: Develop, plan, execute, and manage non-credit lifelong learning programming for seniors 55 to enhance the quality of life for Collin County’s aging population. Required Qualifications: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Recruit new instructors, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions. Manage all aspects of schedule preparation/execution and semester registrations. This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting new instructors. scheduling interviews and making decisions on hiring instructors and guest speakers. Strategically build semester schedule classes at targeted campuses based on student interest and instructor preference and room availability. Submit Audio Visual and Plant Operations requests for all campuses and train instructors. Direct and coordinate special events throughout the year. Work with outside donors and vendors where needed. Hire and train volunteers to assist with registration and events. Provide instructors with rosters. attendance sheets and any other relevant information, such as Collin College policies and updates. Monitor course enrollments and maintain enrollment management records. Prepare, calculate, and submit instructor pay in Workday. Maintain an accurate list of current and non-current Seniors Active in Learning (SAIL) members. Maintain updated registration links and information on the SAIL website. Compile and distribute a monthly newsletter to all SAIL members and submit monthly End of Month Reports to the executive dean. Assist SAIL members with enrollment, including any changes. drops. adds or errors by working with the Business Office. Direct and coordinate related SAIL and senior program outreach and educational activities at targeted campuses and other venues. Provide updated reports and analyses of participation, satisfaction, and forecasting to the executive dean and leadership. Represent Collin College at outside senior events and attend guest speaker presentations as scheduled. Supplemental Functions Perform other duties as assigned.
