ERP Analyst

Colliflower, Inc. is a customer-focused distributor of quality fluid connectors. We have been delivering superior quality Parker Hannifin hoses and fittings since 1951. We fabricate and sell a wide variety of fluid connector products including: hydraulic & pneumatic hoses, metric, tube, & brass fittings, quick couplings, adapters, and accessories. We do not have the capability to offer sponsorship for this position.

We currently have an opening for an ERP Support Specialist in our Baltimore, MD location.

Summary

The ERP Analyst position will serve as the initial point of contact for all ERP related issues. This position will ensure smooth operations of Colliflower’s ERP system by providing technical assistance and training to end-users, implementing enhancements, completing system maintenance, designing customized ERP solutions, and integrating ERP technologies with existing systems.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

User Support

• Provides technical support to end-users, addressing their questions, resolving issues, and assisting with system usage
• Manage user accounts and access permissions in the ERP system
• Conduct user training sessions and create instructional materials for ERP usage including documentation of system processes, procedures and training materials for end users
• Identify and separate system issues from user misunderstandings, potentially using the system's tools for support
• Manage and respond to ticket system requests within expected service lead times
  
  

System Maintenance

• Monitor ERP system performance and ensure its optimal operation
• Ensure that all changes to the system are managed correctly, documented properly and that protocols are followed
• Perform basic repairs and fixes within the ERP system, ensuring minimal disruption to Colliflower’s operations
• Perform regular system audits and data integrity checks
• Escalate any system issues with the ERP provider and manage resolution
  
  

Implementation

• Assist in the setup and configuration of ERP modules according to business requirements, ensuring they are adaptable to changing business needs
• Responsible for developing workflows or customizations to meet specific business needs
  
  

using C#, SQL, or other techniques within the ERP while maintaining system performance.

• Assist in the testing and implementation of ERP system updates and patches
• Ensuring ERP system upgrades are properly reflected in the training materials and kept up to date
• Manage third party integrations to the ERP, including assessment, execution, testing, support and maintenance
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to resolve system issues and implement improvements
  
  

Reporting and Data Management

• Prepare and Manage reports related to the ERP System
• Capture, validate and manage data within the ERP System
• Analyze and document business processes to enhance ERP functionality
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and changes
• Provide input for the development of ERP-related policies and procedures
  
  

Continuous Improvement

• Liaise with external vendors and consultants for advanced technical support
• Stay updated on ERP software versions, best practices, trends and technologies to recommend system enhancements
• Coordinate with the ERP company and other ERP customers to gain insight into process improvements or system improvements
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organization and working within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with C# , SQL and .NET required
• Proficiency in at least one major ERP system required, experience working with Prophet21 ERP system preferred
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working IT ticket system
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with database management and SQL
• Experience in user training and documentation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing environments
• Knowledge of ERP system upgrades and maintenance
• Certification in ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers for computer use
• Manual dexterity required for typing, operating, and repairing computers and machinery
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
• Position is mostly sedentary in nature, but occasionally will walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, lift, and climb when required
  
  

Work Environment

• Routinely uses standard office equipment
• Work performed mostly in an office environment, but occasionally will travel to Colliflower locations
• This position can be performed partially remote
