Delivery Driver

Summary

The Delivery Driver position requires driving to the Colliflower stores and customer sites in an assigned territory. The Delivery Driver will pack, organize, load/unload and deliver specified products/items from Colliflower Warehouse/Hub locations to multiple stores on route and/or to customer sites, and then back to the Warehouse/Hub. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 12:00 Midnight.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

Ensure Orders are accurately delivered to assigned locations/customers

• Organize and pack product load into van
• Deliver and drop off products to the stores/customers
• Pick up products from stores/customers to bring back to Hub if needed
  
  

Operate vehicle safely

• Safely drive to all store locations/customer sites and follow the rules of the road
• Report any safety concerns or issues with vehicle to supervisor immediately
• Be courteous of other drivers on the road, treat them as potential customers
  
  

Maintain vehicle to Colliflower standard

• Ensure that daily and regular maintenance of the van is kept up and completed
• Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the delivery van to company standard
• Maintains safety and cleanliness of vehicle by keeping the interior and exterior of the van clean
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor in a timely manner
  
  

Provide excellent customer service

• Professionally and efficiently communicate with Store Managers, Warehouse, Supervisor, Operations, Manager and others as needed daily to better serve our customers
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and delivers product to correct locations with less than 3% error rate
  
  

Qualifications And Skills

• 2 years delivery driving experience
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record (CDL license NOT required)
• Applicants are subject to a criminal background and driving record check
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 150 lbs
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Regularly required to sit for long periods of time while driving; but when making deliveries to stores will be required to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift product to desired delivery location in each store
  
  

Work Environment

• Work performed while driving company van but will also be exposed to the outdoors and store environments on delivery route
• Routinely uses standard delivery equipment like loading ramps and dollies
