What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transactions Associate, Government Solutions position at Colliers International?
The Colliers Government Solutions practice group is a national real estate brokerage practice providing leasing and investment sales services to owners and investors of government-leased properties nationwide. The group is based in Washington, DC and is searching for a new Associate to provide transactions support to the team’s leasing brokers.

What you bring

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university.

2 years of experience in a similar role, assisting with transactions, financial analysis and/or market research.

Excellent writing and communications skills.

Self-motivation and initiative.

Desire to become a national expert in government-sector real estate.

What success looks like

Assisting your team members in preparing lease offers to various government agencies on behalf of property owners.

Interfacing with the firm’s customers in response to government lease procurements.

Managing a database of government properties and leases and tracking leasing and sales activity nationally.

Monitoring events that affect government agency budgets and mission, assessing their impact on real estate needs.

Working effectively in a collaborative environment.

Providing customized financial analysis to assist client decision-making.

Creating various presentation materials including charts, graphs and spreadsheets while also coordinating business content for proposals and ad hoc projects.

Demonstrating expertise in all facets of government-sector real estate.
